Zach Boldrick, P.E.

Principal Mechanical Engineer

Zach is the principal mechanical engineer for EDC and has been around piping and mechanical systems since his childhood. Following graduation from Baylor University in 2008, he moved to Alaska to explore new opportunities and spend time outdoors. Zach’s first job in Alaska was working for EDC designing rural water and sewer systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, generators, district steam systems, boilers and glycol systems, and commercial HVAC. After EDC, he worked at a diverse variety of engineering positions and projects, including telecom facilities design, industrial hydraulic and electrical control panels, process piping, integrity management and inspections, cathodic protection, and managing mechanical engineering departments. In 2021, he returned to EDC as the senior mechanical engineer and has since become the principal mechanical engineer and partner at the company. When he’s not at work, you can find him outside spending time with his family exploring Alaska.
